The Sag Harbor Yacht Club cordially invites you to enter the Maycroft Cup, originally raced from 1886 through 1916 and revived in 1997. Trophies will be awarded for First, Second and Third Place finishers in each division. Overall winners in the Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker and One Design divisions will have their names engraved on perpetual trophies, the Maycroft Cup, Havens Cup and Ron Lowe Cup, respectively.

The complimentary post-race party and awards ceremony will be held on our docks following the race. We are offering all competing skippers, complimentary overnight dockage on a first come, first served basis, as availability permits.

Raced in and about Shelter Island Sound and Gardiners Bay

Captain’s Meeting: 10:30AM – Sag Harbor Yacht Club
First Gun: 12:30PM - Shelter Island Sound

Entry Fee: $75. (Current US Sailing Members subtract $5.)

* Divisions as listed are tentative and will be assigned at the discretion of the Race Committee.

All entries must get a current ELIYA-ECSA PHRF Certificate. Get one for $20 from the top link in the PHRF section on the right side of the ELIYA website: elisailing.org/

This regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025 - 2028 including US Sailing Prescriptions and the General Conditions and Rules of ELIYA except as altered by the Sailing Instructions. Class Rules and Regulations shall apply for all One Design divisions except as altered by the Sailing Instructions.
